Hoi allemaal!
Vandaag trouwt Carla, een van mijn beste vriendinnen, met haar vriend Alex.
Carla en Alex zijn al samen van in de middelbare school en nu gaan ze (eindelijk ;-)) trouwen. Ik heb speciaal voor hen dit kaartje gemaakt. Nu gaan jullie zeggen: blauw? Wat is dat nu voor een kleur voor een huwelijkskaart? Wel, Ik weet dat Carla haar kleedje blauw is en dat het pak van Alex dat ook is, dus ik heb mij daar aan aangepast. En over enkele maanden zullen ze de trotse ouders worden van een zoontje, dus dan vind ik dat blauw zeker de gepaste kleur is!
Op de kaart heb ik allemaal materialen van Marianne Design gebruikt: de die-cut, het stempeltje van het bruidspaar en het hartje, het papier. Van Joy Crafts heb ik de tekststempels en het Kraftpapier. Voor de rest gebruikte ik nog enkel pareltjes, paillettenbloempjes, lint, bedeltje en enkele knoopjes en roosjes.
Ik ben benieuwd naar wat jullie er van vinden. Waar ik nog nieuwsgieriger naar ben, is het weer. De trouw staat gepland voor 15u, dus ik hoop dat tegen dan de zon toch een beetje van zich laat horen, want dat verdienen ze ;-)

Hi everyone!
Today is the wedding day of Carla, one of my best friends and her boyfriend Alex.
Carla and Alex have been together from high school and now they're (finally ;-)) getting married. I made this card for them. Now you're all saying blue? That's not a color for a wedding card? Well, I know that Carla will be wearing a blue dress and that Alex' suit is also in blue, so I have chosen the same color. And within a few months they will be the proud parents of a son, so I think that's definitely the appropriate color!
On the card I have used a lot materials from Marianne Design: the die-cut, the stamp of the couple and the heart, the paper. From Joy Crafts I have used the sentiments and the Kraft paper. For the rest I used some gems, sequin flowers, ribbon, charm and some buttons and roses.
I'm curious what you think about it. What I'm even more curious about, is the weather. The wedding is scheduled for 15h, so I'm hoping that by then the sun is showing, because they deserve it;-)
